The Posting Room · A note from Kayleigh

Your plans are yours.

Privacy policy · Last updated 14 October 2026

I’m Kayleigh Donovan, and The Posting Room is a little tool for planning reels, carousels, and stories. This is what it keeps about you and why. No mystery.

The short version

Your planner is private to your account. I don’t sell your information, show you ads or track you around the web. The information here is used to run the planner, send the emails you need and fix things when they break. You can delete your account from Settings.

What’s stored

  • Your account: your email address so you can log in, and your first name so the planner can say hi. If you sign up with an early access code, I keep which code you used. If you choose Google, the planner also receives your Google name and profile picture.
  • Your plans: post titles, notes, captions you put in notes, dates and times, formats, progress, ideas, tags, photos, clips, voice memos, a profile photo if you add one, and settings.
  • Feedback you send: your message, what it’s about, your name and email, which screen you were on, your device type and the app version. It’s emailed to me (Kayleigh) and Daniel so we can read it and reply, and it’s deleted with your account.
  • Your waitlist details: your email, your first name if you add it, the creator type you choose, where you signed up from, when you joined and your invitation status. Joining the list lets me email you when your seat is ready. It also sends me a sign-up alert.
  • Error reports: technical details that help find a problem, such as where the code failed and your account ID. Reports from the planner leave out your email, planner content and media names. There’s no screen recording.

What it’s used for

Logging you in, saving and showing your plans, keeping your devices in sync, managing the waitlist and fixing problems. I also count how the planner gets used, like how many posts get planned, so I can see what’s working and what’s confusing. Your plans aren’t used for advertising. Nothing here posts to Instagram for you.

Who can see your plans

Other people using the planner can’t see them. The database checks which account is making each request, and photos, clips and memos live in private storage. Like any online service, the people running it can technically reach the database. I only use that access to keep it working or help when you ask.

The services helping it run

  • Supabase stores accounts, planner content, media and the waitlist in Sydney, Australia.
  • Vercel hosts the website.
  • Resend sends login codes, invitations, waitlist emails and your feedback.
  • Google handles Google sign-in, if you choose it. Google Fonts supplies the website’s fonts.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile checks the login and waitlist forms for bots.
  • Sentry receives the limited error reports described above.
  • PostHog counts how the planner gets used, in the US. It only knows your account number, never your name, email or anything you write, and it doesn’t record your screen.

These services receive the information they need to do their job. Hosting, email and security services may process connection details such as your IP address, and some processing happens outside Australia.

What stays on your device

The planner remembers your login, keeps an offline copy of your plans and a queue of changes waiting to upload, and remembers tips you’ve seen. Photos, clips and voice memos need a connection to upload. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Logging out keeps the saved planner copy and pending changes in that browser, so you can pick up where you left off. On a shared device, clear this site’s browser data too.

In on-device mode, there’s no cloud account. Plans and media stay in that browser, and the planner doesn’t send Sentry reports. You can remove that copy by clearing the site’s browser data.

Deleting your account

Open Settings and tap Delete my account. After you confirm, the planner removes your photos, clips and voice memos, then permanently deletes your account, posts, ideas, tags, settings and waitlist row. It also clears the saved planner copy and pending changes in the browser you’re using. You’ll need a connection, and it can’t be undone.

This can’t reach into another offline device or delete backups you downloaded. Clear this site’s browser data on those devices and remove any downloaded backups yourself. Emails already sent and technical records kept by service providers aren’t erased by the button. If you want help with those, email me.

You can download posts, ideas, tags and settings from Settings → Back up & restore before deleting. That download doesn’t include media. If you’re only on the waitlist and want your details removed, email me. If you delete your account and come back later, you can create a new account. Your deleted plans won’t return.

Children

The planner isn’t intended for children under 13.

If this changes

I’ll update the date at the top. If something changes in a way that matters, I’ll let people know in the planner.

Questions or a hand with something?

Email hello@thepostingroom.com and I’ll get back to you.
